Unnamed Trialist
We score! Our pressure and pace pays off, Jourde, gets the rebound off a point blank miss. They get one back immediately, our no 6 runs away from the open player and allows the play instead of closing it down. Bewildering. dyslexic nam
No idea what our defenders were doing. Both of them ran away from the winger leaving her completely alone. Bizarre. ahmedou
dyslexic nam
I don’t necessarily mind trying the challenge rule but what they just said about Spain’s challenge is BS. The play was ultimately offside so they get their challenge back? They still made a challenge and consumed time. Should absolutely burn one IMO. ahmedou

Instead of going to the press and relying on teammates to cover the shift. Regardless of what's happening in the play. Sadly, you see this in MLS defending quite often. We're actually picking at their defence and getting close a few times. dyslexic nam and ahmedou 1

But we're getting behind their defence and forcing sloppy play from a team that's usually in control. ahmedou

Unnamed Trialist
Another poor defence of a centre and Lloris pushes it past Henning, otherwise doing very well. 2-1. ahmedou and dyslexic nam 1

Big_M
cant be playing with one striker at this point...send 2-3 and pump balls forward...direct play has worked in this game ahmedou
Unnamed Trialist
We're doing quite well I'd say. We pressure okay, can turn the defenders, we're brave. rkomar and ahmedou
Colonel Green
The U20 team in 2022 was demoralizingly bad, so as frustrating as this tournament could be, it was undeniably a huge improvement. xabuep2, ahmedou, rkomar and 2 others 4

Unnamed Trialist
Good showing against what I'd say is a poor representative of Spain considering they're holders. A bit of a transitional group for Spain, some nice pieces for Canada but also I'd say some disappointing inclusions. And the need for more demanding coaching from our youth managers. ahmedou
dyslexic nam
Our attacking players in this group seemed more effective than our defence. ahmedou
Soro17
I would have liked to see Chukwu and Rose together at some point. Seems like you should try get your best players all on the pitch at once at some point. Ultimately pretty glaring defensive lapses were the downfall of this team against France and Spain. Some nice pieces for the future to be sure! ahmedou, The Ref and Unnamed Trialist 2
