Not only could I not get name and number, it turned out the Canada Soccer store did not ship abroad (linked to the manufacturer). In the end, I ordered from the American site - still no name and number, but at least it shipped abroad. We really should be able to do better. Maybe they're still working the details around player compensation? You'd think you could at least order one with a number. Players own their name, they don't own a number but maybe there is enough of an inference there? Don't know.
