I'm not surprised that Canada has looked less attacking with Millar and Osorio taking the place of Shaffelburg and David. Still I'd like to see more. Larin showed why a striker doesn't need to be influencing the game every moment in order to be effective.

My Fox Deportes people think it's been chippy.  I agree...but nothing worth being upset about.  Fairly typical for a contested match on both sides.

 

And that was a great ball, a great header and a great save on Larin.

Truly, like I was going to switch to Canada at 85' but I knew the US would do something stupid before the end of the match and I was rewarded for my patience. Imagine never winning when you host every match.

Not a bad half for us, we aren't giving up much and had a couple chances near the end, most of the time it looks like a 4-4-2 with Osorio up beside Larin, we aren't scared of these teams anymore and can dictate the play like we never could! I would like to see a bunch of changes as the half progresses! Six of this starting 11 probably aren't starters when everyone is available, as we know that never happens so we are getting a good look at our depth!

Seriously thinking that Ahmed over Buchanan is an easy choice this time next year. It might be an easy choice today.

One of the poorer halves of football i've watched in the past few months. Mexico playing very cynically to kill all rhythm and momentum. Canada's looking good despite it but we need more pace up top to penetrate through and capitalize on our wing play. Defenders have been solid as always.

I'd like to see Oluwaseyi, Russell-Rowe, and maybe Sigur late.

I watched the USA game at about 8pm eastern on the day of the game, so 2 hours after it ended by finding it on-demand. The thing with OneSoccer is it varies a lot from app to app (like iPhone to Roku to the website, etc.). For example, on Roku I need to go to "Archives" to find the games. The home page "recent" list (not sure if that's what it's called, going off of memory) hasn't been updated for about 15 months or something.

I'm glad Cornelius was good to go. Every game that he can play together with Bombito before 2026 counts as a win in my book.

So hard to play when there are so many fouls..disruptive and no tempo. Have to move the ball quicker but the ref needs to get a hold of it start throwing cards around 13 fouls in one half..the right back should be off..very frustrating...

Agreed. Not too long ago a game vs Mexico would have been 2-0 Mexico at the half with them having 80% of the ball and the fans ole-ing non stop. 

Now they’re trying to muck it up, refusing to let it us play and are relying solely on long balls.  It’s insane how quickly both teams have changed.

And yet but these are the games we need to to navigate, and win. Plenty to learn from this. I want to see some subs and to see our guys continue to grow.

And I wouldn't mind the win for morale and for FIFA ranking points.
