Do the Americans have anything else scheduled? Can we play them again?

They are playing Mexico away.  Anyways, there is no benefit in playing them again.l and frankly, I would have less interest in a US rematch than a Panama friendly.  Plus Marsch has already made his point.

I can't imagine beating them would ever get boring. 😁

Don’t disagree.  But there would be no motivation from either side to play each other again.  And since Turkmenistan is now taken, there is no point in trying to line up a weaker opponent than the worst team in Central Asia.

What are the realistic possibilities here?

- Jebbison finally ready to commit?

- Kulenovic?

- Promise David?

- Poku?

- Lopez?

- JKL?

- Raposo?

- Metcalfe?

- Franklin?

- Thompson?

- JMR (technically not a first call up)?

- anyone else?

One name I just saw on Twitter was Jovan Ivanisevic of NK Istra, ex-TFC II. He’s started the last 4 games and is currently the second highest rated player on his entire team. Only 19.

I'd prefer for this not to be the moment we drag all kinds of guys away from their clubs who may be playing through the window, when their may be solid reasons for them to be working on their club play. Because we are really not benefitting much by doing so. If they are far from the NT, they are likely not in stable club situations.

For me, since we want to put on a good show vs. Panama, we need to have all the guys with their clubs breaking for the FIFA window.

Ticket sales are rolling along for the Panama friendly next month.

The first 9 rows of 219-227 have been put on sale since the last time I checked. I thought there would be more left in 106-109 than there is with 3 weeks to go, and there are quite a few 100-level sections that only have a small number of seats remaining. Nice!

I would be going but unfortunately i'm out of town that week. Wish I wasn't!

The Athletic article implied the coach was interested in the Stroud bros.

We are going to need depth at the Gold Cup assuming guys like Eustáquio and Davies play for their clubs at the Club World Cup.

I'd add Patrick Metcalfe, playing regularly as a mid on a team doing well in Norway top flight. They are off.

Bustos is in Sweden top flight, if he thought he might bring him in. I think he's a far lower bet as he's a sub on a weak team and is 28. He'd have to do quite a bit more.

Kennedy at Eupen, they are off, but again, maybe he needs time to settle into the new club situation.

Espanyol would not stop Smith going, it's their B side, development oriented, apart from knowing that if a player thrives then transfer revenue could come from it.
