If I had to bet the coincidence of the game being stolen by the refs being just before the international break was probably unfortunate as they got to stew in it a bit... Hopefully, Courtois can get them in a better place during halftime. Edited March 31 by phil03 costarg and dyslexic nam
jonovision
Insane red card decision to Waterman. VAR correctly changes it to yellow. Edited March 31 by jonovision
Gian-Luca
I've no idea what Herdman and his gigantic coaching staff were thinking of leaving Coello on for the 2nd half when he had a poor first half and you've got Flores sitting healthy on the bench. The majority of those glorious KC chances in the first half came from Coello either giving the ball away, being dispossessed or being out of position and that continued into the 2nd half, but they didn't take him off until he took a yellow and the team fell behind. In game like that where the opposition is only creating chances from midfield giveaways, it seemed insane to leave the main culprit on the field when one of your best players through the first five games is sitting on the bench. And I have no love for Honduran players so this is not a case of me saying this because I'm watching the match through Honduran-coloured glasses. Big_M
feels like it could be the beginning of the downfall of toronto this year...loss at home with three conceded against a team missing two of their best offensive players, all these players missing including insigne for weeks and laryea months and two long trips coming up for away games on artificial surfaces

I can’t imagine he starts next game.
costarg
The Canadian trio is starting again at the back for Portland. Ahmed also gets the start for VWC. Unfortunately its on the left, not CM. nolando and narduch

It's not really how they've used him most of the time. costarg and WestHamCanadianinOxford

They signed two Cancon wingbacks and used them to do those jobs. Edited March 31 by BearcatSA WestHamCanadianinOxford and nolando 1

(How many players do we have playing wingback around the globe?)

Watchmen
Was happy to see Johnson get a good half hour run out. Don't know what White's status will be for next week, but could see that again. At the very least, I think we'll be seeing him as a regular late game sub (last 10 minutes sort of situation).

BearcatSA
I managed to get down for this one. The last time I watched TFC vs VWFC here was Giovinco's first game for the club.

Later in the season, TSN has a back to back match day of TFC and then right after, a VWFC match. Go figure. dyslexic nam

The Beaver 2.0
Missed the game. Were the Caps good, so-so, or were TFC just poor? Was hoping for a tighter match, but I am happy with the result. Any of the Canadians show well tonight?

phil03
Martinez ring the bell for the first time this season, making it 1-0. Overall I feel it reflect the first half. We didn't play well enough to logically earn a two-goal lead but we deserve to be ahead. costarg
phil03
Cinci equalize but MTL quickly respond with Lassiter, making it 2-1. That's what we want to see when bad stuff happen! costarg
