im not the biggest fan of it either but compared to a 2 leg series, a three game series gives a more deserved advantage to higher seeds. that being said, single elimination would be my preference

updated MLS salary guide numbers (as of september) are out. whitecaps are 12th in salary spending ($17.4m), stuart armstrong is on $2.8m

I prefer two legs because it gives both teams home games.  

That’s my biggest problem with the CPL’s playoff format - a team could win the Cup without their fans ever getting a home game.

But that's how you make the regular season more meaningful. Want to host playoff games? Win during the season.
