Copes
Start off the thread with this blog post, I suppose. https://wanderersnotebook.ca/2023/10/28/8-cpl-thoughts-zachary-fernandez-theo-collomb-shaan-hundal-and-manny-aparicio-mark-beginning-of-cpl-off-season-transfer-news/ Of interest (assuming this is true) it sounds like Zach Fernandez is the player receiving the most attention, and if that's true probably means we won't see him back. Sounds like Collomb also won't be back (although this sounds a bit more like disagreements with the coaching) and Omar also seems to be weighing options. On the flip side, surprisingly positive about the likelihood of Callegari and Nimick returning. As a Wanderers fan I'm thrilled if that is true, although I think both did a ton this season to earn looks. Sounds like they aren't getting as many as we maybe would have thought. narduch
The coverage of the CanWNT game in Halifax shows how real bare bones the stadium is. Really hammers home how they need a permanent stadium

Really hammers home how they need a permanent stadium Last night was the first time I attended a soccer match in Halifax, and I've now been to matches at all four eastern CPL stadiums. I love all four stadiums; each is unique in its own way. I was expecting a bare-bones stadium in Halifax but I was slightly surprised at how bare bones it was — metal bleachers throughout the stands and not much in the way of amenities. The seat numbers were so close together that I was literally touching shoulders with the people on either side of me. At least that helped keep us all warm on a cold night! And nothing about the stadium took away from the atmosphere or the enthusiasm of the crowd — it was a great place to watch the match. I wish nothing but the best for the Wanderers in their search for a permanent stadium. Hopefully it can be built on the same site, as you couldn't ask for a better location. Copes
Probably the biggest club legend other than Rampy in our first few years as an organization. Wish him all the best. What a player! Lurker
red card
Wanderers picked by Athletic as one of the top 20 non-Euro teams to manage on FM24. Transfer budget: £405k Wage budget: -£550 Difficulty rating: 4/5 The Canadian Premier League, introduced in 2019, only features eight teams and Halifax are predicted to finish fifth. Forge are the dominant team to beat, as they have won three of the past four titles. The division’s reputation is small, which means a lot of players will be unwilling to join, which will put your recruiting abilities to the test. Top tip: The assistant manager already at the club is replaceable in FM24. Signing talented players will be tough, so you need to find good coaches to help the players you are able to sign develop instead of relying on signing high-profile wonderkids. They also picked TFC. https://theathletic.com/4989746/2023/11/08/fm24-best-non-european-teams-football-manager-2024/ Metro and Pottsy3
