The field was fairly rough and the ball wasn't rolling smoothly, kept popping up, but at least no pools of water, and looks in much better shape than the other pitch in Irapuato where we have been playing up to now. Weather seems like it will be fine as well.

So far in the tournament, Panama has scored 7 and allowed 0 in the 1st half, while scoring 0 and allowing 2 in the 2nd half. 

Canada, meanwhile, has scored 3 first half goals and allowed 0, while scoring 2 and allowing 3 in the 2nd half.

As compared to the 2022 edition of the tournament, 6 quarter-finalists from 2022 made it back to that round in 2024 (US, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras & Guatemala) while Dominican Republic and Jamaica from 2022 have been replaced by Canada and Cuba this time around.

And that 2nd yellow for Bunbury was so silly, kicking the ball away at the last second against El Salvador. Oh well, I guess it will be a lesson he won't soon forget.

Hopefully he’s going to Belgium for the Europa tie otherwise this is really poor form. They could have at least let him play tonight before recalling if they really just need him to sit on the bench.
