The impact of the Canadian premier on the national team

Hello all,

as we enter the 5th season of Can PL, I wanted to look quickly at the impact on the national team and at the league’s exports. Below is an XI/List of players who were developed through the league.

I list these players, I know there’s more however my point is that, these players careers have been aided, launched or saved because of the league.

Most of this XI has, or will play for Canada at a point, or be called. I know I’ve listed more than 12 and that some are guys who are heading up to MLS at a point or could, but I did so to illustrate how well the CPL is doing at developing the Canadian player, giving players a second shot and uncovering hidden gems.

 

Feel free to add guys i missed, I did the quickly.

Hey, what the over under on how long it takes for Bird droppings to post some sort of back handed compliment thats really a sneaky jab at the CPL?  If he mentions how he was widely ridiculed by the usual suspects, you win the daily double.  Please dont quote this so we can have a fair contest.
