The far right has spoken,  ....but as Joan Baez's and Paul Hewson sang and shouted "El pueblo vencerá" we still got the Peronist Pope,  we still have a hope , that guy is the result of the voting of younger generations over hate and racism- classism and hedonistic society concept, will disappear.  Richest few they hate the working class on this soil.

Mbappe talked that France Is experiencing the same and he is calling to stop the Far right

just  three flags :

1) social justice

2) political sovereignity

3)economic independence

That's makes the third way as good old Tony Blair defended with his life!

Macron probably made him say that :D

Sounds better than "inflation nation".

You can call us  "vulture funds" nation too!! ( but only when no peronists are in office ,  as now and 2015-2019)

There is big a discussion here over the progressive liberal sectors against "the declasse footballers " because many women think that they should have talked about not voting the far right to teenagers and young people from 20 to 35 as they are role models.  They thought footballers can convince people but they are a bunch of declasse only Messi Otamendi and Di Maria are peronists

The problem is that the children and grandchildren of the working class people voted to the far right with the promess of " you can be rich too" and " hate your useless retired  grandpa /grandma who are a Peronist or UCR obsolète citizens". " Let's make Argentina great again ".  Kids and haters went fot it,

But El pueblo ( teachers , unions , doctors etc) will always prevail .

I would consider any promise from any politician empty, right or left. Issues facing all countries are bigger than any given politician or individual. All common people can do is treat each other with respect and love each other. That's the thing about football and sport, it can bring a nation together.

Good luck on Thursday. We are massive underdogs but hopefully we are streetwise enough to prevail against your team. Cheers.

Haven’t seen an Argentinian look this uncomfortable since Messi met a one Lukas MacNaughton.

He sent his police to kick and spray them with tear gas/ pepper gas last Wednesday ,  mostly citizens, retired citizens, teachers and professionals, medic doctors , union trades, he called them ' terrorists" and he wrote in X that they were "up for a coup d'état " , more to come...

I wonder what the International global audience will be  on Thursday night . Will this be the most watched Canada game at Global level

You would think it shoud at least be in the top 4. But I have no idea if many people outside of South America pay much attention to the Copa America. The timing will make it hard for European, African, and Asian fans of Messi to watch the game live.
