Canada and the 2024 Copa America

Probably mentioned somewhere by now, but the first person I thought of when I heard the drone news was Herdman. Bev and Herdman have worked closely over the years. I am not saying this is his fault, but can't help but feel their decision around the drone was influenced by years of working with Herdman, who deployed drones to film training for the men.

And didn't Honduras accuse Canada of flying drones over their training when we hosted them in Toronto for WCQ, or am I misrembering?

I'll say this much: I appreciated that Herdman was a win-at-all-costs kinda guy, who thought outside of the box and deployed all kinds of tools to improve the program.

I read somewhere drones are often used during practice at that level (for your own team, of course). I'd imagine for a national team it would be a way to maximize the data you receive.

As for Honduras, they did do so but, and I admit I am obviously biased, considering the amount of shit they pull when we go there and the projection-based defense some of their fans and media offer when its brought up I am not inclined to believe their accusations short of some concrete evidence. Until and unless that come the coincidence of an alignment between Honduras' (probably baseless) accusations and the very real bad stuff we did is to be considered just that.

My dear friend and soft flower of the Nordstar,  do you know why the kids in the shanty towns or favelas or thé french banlieus or the southamerican villas miserias won't play Polo ?

Because you know the will kill and eat the horse ,  you can't make footballers from opulence or rich towns like the Hamptons,  we have great footballers because or poverty,  because of the working clubs ,  because the social clubs in the neighborhood that they offer different sports and hobbies for its community as it happen in Barcelona, in Ireland in Uruguay in Argentina and in France as well and im many countries too.

Where people collect money for funds for the children's to compete, shirts, shoes, 🏈 🎾 🤾 🥊 etc etc etc ,  without society you can't have footballers I'm a capitalist but I support social justice ,  the richest as Bono sings " the wicked make just  so much noise, mother , the righteous stay oddly still , with no wisdom all of the riches in the world leave us poor tonight" ,  Ave Maria.

Or George Best's parents were rich ?

Or etc etc

The worst crime Is those who come from the bottom of society they forget who they are and who they represent my dear KENT .

That's why Peronism/justicialism is so absorbing even though with it's faults because politics are made by people sometimes greedy, it's the third way.   England had a justicialist in office, Tony Blair , he couldn't rise up to the occasion

Cheers

Long live Bielsa !!!

Not so ,  that's why a Muppet from far right is in office.

Most people are plain ignorants,  the rest are Peronist/political liberals or the left,  the one who studied from a working class upbringing are up to social justice , the rest have a Neoliberal behaviour and they are friendly with the ones who enslave them ,  human rights are what we support all the generations of rights ....you see....

....Rich people and companies don't wanna pay taxes is that ok for you?  Then you see them around the globe .

Best regards

You're by far the 'softest' guy on this forum. You get butthurt any time anyone challenges your opinions. Your generalizations are so all-encompassing they become laughable. Only poor people/countries can become good players/teams? Really? I think Germany's GDP might have something to say about that.

Also...why the fuck do we have to listen/read about your takes on Argentinian politics? I personally couldn't give a shit. Keep it to yourself.

PS You wouldn't last a day in the Yukon.

Easy big fellow .  If you don't agree that everything is politics you are mistaken,  everything is politics,  you and I my Canadian friend are the Zoon Politikons ,  otherwise we would be a pack of wolves in Yukon.  And yes I'm a city slicker but I'm an avid fisherman and have do.e survival skills I was a Peronist boy scout at eleven .

You are correct Germany is an exception that confirms this social law.

Do you know what they did ?  After the Matttheus Hassler Klinsmann illgner génération thé government noticed that kids there of my generation weren't as attracted by football some went into drugs, music, arts ,  video games , college etx etc.

Ballack and Klose generation  were a few of a low bunch,  beween 1995 and 2000 they cteated centre of sports to develop the best prospects there the Tony Kroos and Ozil of life appeared

I sanction that snobbish chant from the upper class of Argentina ,  racism in Argentina in some social pockets it is related to the richest and anti Peronists ,  as I said football is life and life is politics as simple as ...2 +2 is four

Please don't ever think that you and I are similar in any way. That aside, your 'city slicker' boy scout skills won't help you one fucking iota in the Yukon. The bears and wolves up there have no political affiliation.

Have you spent a lot of time "up there" yourself?

I really can't see what any of this has to do with what I wrote, let alone Canada and the 2024 Copa America.

Amazing stuff.. im not sure why you're constantly dropping all this science on us ham n eggers here on a Canadian Soccer forum. You should be leading a student uprising in 1957 somewhere. Wearing a beret, cigarette dangling. Emerging from the jungle to drive those greedy Conqurettas in to the ocean. You should go back to Argentina and lead Argentina back to its glory days of the past. Whenever that was. I'm sure you can tell me

The true irony is perhaps that this Morocco team that beat Argentina was full of players born and raised in Europe, including France.

Another irony was the fans who were also born and raised in Europe acted like fools and seemed to think they were. Wait what

Now I'm just confused

I have...in Dawson City. Never lived there but worked up there several times. Beautiful but unforgiving part of the country. Why do you ask?

Just because some people who talk about wolves and bears "up there" have never been. You don't have to go so far up to find wolves and bears, I had bears in my suburban backyard in Vancouver as a kid.

I block Javier lately as it is a bit much at times.

I guess I get irked by Canadians overdoing the natural wild stuff, but of course many of us have lived it up close and we know what we are talking about.

I worked in Ross River one late summer, and then out of Whitehorse. In the bush, mineral exploration. Usually carrying a Winchester 30-30, I've spent almost a year of my life in isolated grizzly country, for example. You don't have to look like a guest on Joe Rogan to know about bears. Also have a very good memory of the landscape as well.

Yup...I get it. It takes a certain type of person to live and thrive "up there" and I have great respect for that.

I get irked by someone insinuating there is anything soft about the Yukon. And to be honest I'm just tired of Javier.
