that is one thing Belgium did very little of...hard pressure on Cdn possession, and it is exactly what Croatia has done to make all the difference.  Canada kept some of their possession today, but never easily and have often turned it over...that didn't happen against Belgium.

I don’t think you lose that from one bad play. As I have said for a long time though, to me Miller is at his level in MLS.

Reality is that our backline was fully outmatched today and it showed.  Herdman going with two midfielders instead of three also was a terrible game plan.

Well lads, it has been interesting.   Our first WC goal - and from open play.   That is something to be celebrated.  Anyone thinking we were going to hav wit easy (as the lowest ranked team in the group) was being silly.  This was always going to be a monumental challenge.  Dropping points against Belgium was always going to make it ridiculously hard. 

But let’s appreciate that we are there.  Playing with the world’s best.  One more game for pride and then we start the slow build to 2026.

Canada getting destroyed by Croatia and honestly Canada again had it right in their grasp. I mean seriously you had a 1-0 lead in opening minutes and by minute 35 Canada just got exposed.
