I don't know that Kone is less of a gamble though. Certainly defensively it's a gamble. MAK is out of form. Osorio is the safe bet but with less magic factor than Kone.

He's not entirely wrong about Davies. There was one occasion not long after the goal at the top of the box where he just stood still after a pass from out wide to around the penalty spot didn't work out when a bit of hussle might have helped pressure the Croatian player in possession into a mistake.

Livaja in particular has been a monster in Croatia and would absolutely be on our squad.

Larin may get a few more minutes but it'll be Cavallini at m 60 if we're still a goal down.

Croatia aren't fast, they're just precise and found out with very little they could hurt us.

Is gonna be very hard,  they are old school footballers.  Canada had everything today to get 3 points in the bag.  The team got split and disjointed.

Predictably we’re not doing enough to limit the Croatian midfield. This was the lesson of the Morocco vs Croatia match not learned. We’re unlikely to get a result unless that happens.

I actually think Cav’s skills are best suited for this as he can hold up and be an outlet. Larin and David have been failing at that so far. Not sure if Ugbo is better option

Canada started OK up to minute 25 ,  the game told Canadians something wrong when they scored and got disallowed,  Herdman didn't change the formation.

how? first goal was literally side netting just inside the post. Second goal he didn't have much of a chance.

Why the fuck is Borjan staying on his line on that first goal. First thing you learn as a GK is to always close down the angle. Rookie mistake.  

And secondly, as I said before the game started, Kone should have been starting.
