SthMelbRed
I will be reduced to tears, sitting alone on my couch at nearly 3 am in Melbourne, as Les Rouges walk out onto a World Cup pitch for the first time in 36+ years and I think back on all the losses I suffered through at Swangard in my younger days, Nick Dasovic's OG at Commonwealth against the Socceroos, the 18 hours me and my buddies drove through the night to get to Palo Alto in '97, only to be down 2 goals to the Yanks inside 10 minutes, 8 fucking 1, that cunt Archundia, and so many other things. I will then pour myself a glass of 25 YO single malt and raise a glass to Dom Mobilio, Tony Waiters, Graham Leggett, my uncle who passed away last year, and so many others who didn't live to see it. ADP10
We win 3-1 with at some point during the game, the TSN commentator taking a note from Gareth Wheeler saying "OH CANADA OH BABY". Gareth Wheeler will later come up with a passive aggressive tweet at said commentator. Kadenge, kacbru, kingvikingstad and 2 others 1

PegCityCam
In the 88th Vitoria smashes home a header off a Eustaquio inswinging corner. We'll already be up 3-2 on goals by Davies, Hoilett and Eustaquio. Stacks with the MOTM (this acronym wins no matter what happens}: Edit: 4-2 final. My goal scorers are in order. Davies scores first. Our boys are locked in, they're battle tested...what a freaking day to be alive! Edited November 23, 2022 by PegCityCam
phresh
Since the start of the world cup, seemingly every other student of the school I attend has been intently watching the games in the library, classes, labs, bathrooms, etc... so when Canada scores it's first ever goal at the men's World Cup tomorrow, you best believe the entire school will be fucking rocking. That's my prediction. vancanman and jonovision

kingvikingstad
De Bruyne scores from outside the box. Both teams accumulate lots of yellows. Belgium gives away a penalty. David scores - no panenka. Buchanon scores and does a backflip. Davies tries to do too much on the ball and gives up a counter leading to a goal. There are lots of goals in the game. 3-2 Canada. In the crowd, Canada fans are seen dressed as a moose, beaver, and lumberjack.

Stryker911
Miller costs us at least 1 goal. And we got the opposite of morocco-croatia and get a card happy ref. We end up with at least 4 yellows for bs fouls.
Alex
A loonie will be buried somewhere on the pitch. Canada will score, but VAR will rule it was offside in the 28th minute. We will have a Richard Hastings reference when Kamal Miller scores his and Canada’s first goal ever in the World Cup. We will also see Herdman cry. narduch

MtlMario
My crystal ball predicted a 1-1 tie but I'm saying we win 2-1. Vitoria will score our first ever goal off a corner and Davies scores on a counter in minute 90. There is a GOD!

dyslexic nam
Yeah, I am having a hard time weighting the various submissions. Given the lack of a clear front runner (though @Treppy2makes a decent case) I am debating whether or not to push this to the next game.
