Canada scored a ton of goals in the Ocho on relatively few chances. Outperformed their expected goals.

Amazing half by Canada, but you can see Belgium's experience and we are giving KDB way to much space in the middle.

AD would have been like 4th or 5th on my penalty takers list: David, hoilett, SV, etc... but I guess he stepped up/wanted it. Poor penalty but oh well.

The Belgium goal reminded me of a goal we’d have attempted in previous years when we had 10 behind the ball.  Didn’t go the way we wanted but I can’t be disappointed with that half.  Canada has arrived… I’m expecting these guys to go 110% in the second half.

No, nothing is guaranteed. But it’s the World Cup, pick your best option, not the biggest name.

Either way, we don’t get here without AD, so if we lose the game because of something he did, can’t hold it against him too long.

AD was 100% on penalties until today. Now 66%. David is 75% in his career. Penalties are a lottery, we just weighted the odds slightly worse. We didn't give away a goal.
