@Olympique_de_Marseille other than Davies, which 2 players may not be there from the 26 man WC squad?

I don't know. I'm not even sure that Herdman himself knows.

Even with the move from 23 to 26, the rosters still have 3 keepers so it would likely be outfield player.

If any player gets a red card vs Bahrain obviously they will not be allowed to play

I'd like to see the 26-man roster first.

Ask me again on Sunday! ;)

This is probably one of our biggest opponents friendly wise since Uruguay and Japan are no slouches either. An Asian powerhouse but also they do have World Class players in their national team especially Tomiyasu of Arsenal who I know very well being an Arsenal fan. Honestly I can't wait to see this match.

Obviously we want a good result and performance here, but I think what is equally important is playing in the world cup weather - as they did vs Bahrain - and getting themselves acclimatized.  The more time we can spend there in advance of the Belgium game the better.  When are our group mates arriving in Qatar?  I know we don't have our full squad there, but the more the better!

With the WC roster now out, to go from 26 to 23, I would cut Davies ( injury ) , Cavallini and Waterman ( both got good minutes vs Bahrain and Herdman got to assess them )

Cavallini - got his pre WC run and we have lots of forwards to give some time to - Larin, Ugo, David, then wingers like Millar, Hoilett, Tajon, etc

Osorio - coming back from injury and played a full 90

Davies - get fully recovered.
