I don't want to take away from Waterman's solid club season but choosing him over Henry (if healthy) who has nearly 50 international caps for Canada is mind boggling to me.  Add in that Henry was actually good against teams like Mexico & USA in Qualifying and Waterman is struggling vs Bahrain.

No excuses but to be fair Bahrain is ranked between Honduras and Curacao. Just sayin.

Bahrain's ELO ranking is 81st, while El Salvador is 80th and Honduras 84th. They're not as bad as you'd imagine.

Every time Miller gets the ball he deflates it, folds it, puts it in a box marked "ball" and shoves it away in the closet. 

Part of what these matches is about is playing "as if", and that means here intensity, pace, urgency, not being lackluster just because the rival is mediocre. 

And more: think about what your pass is before you receive the ball. That is what a decent 12 year old academy should teach you.

I think we should give Honduras and El Salvador more credit here. The team that has won the Bahraini league 3 of the last 4 seasons hasn't advanced passed the AFC round of 16 since 2010, and most of their best players aren't even Bahraini. A CPL team should be able to beat these guys.
