McFan70
Now that it appears roster departures, etc are coming out across the league, as far as I can see, there are only six players under contract for Forge next season: Dominic Samuel (D), Garven Metusala (D), Alex Achinioti-Jonsson (M), Alessandro Hojabrpour (M), Aboubakar Sissoko (M), and Jordan Hamilton (F). I might have missed players that have options...so will be interesting in who returns and who explores options to play elsewhere or opportunities to perhaps move up a level. MM3/MM2/MM
From my list, Terran Campbell (2024) Ashtone Morgan (2023)and Kwasi Poku (2023) are either under contract or have club options. I would assume Rezart Rama would have a club option. Edited November 8, 2022 by MM3/MM2/MM
Pottsy3
Possible departures I'm curious about: Welshman: Likely a starter at other clubs, but hasn't really carved out a role since returning from abroad. His heart seems to be here though, it seems he never wanted to leave the first time. Nanco/Grant: neither can stay healthy long enough to contribute. At 28 and 29 to start next season, I wouldn't be surprised if either moves on from football. MM3/MM2/MM and -Hammer-
MM3/MM2/MM
I liked Nanco's play down the wing, he didn't gain traction with Forge, injuries seemed have a big impact.
-Hammer-
I think Nanco and Grant's time with Forge may be nearly at an end. That said, with Vancouver FC opening up shop, there is hope they get scooped up to add some veteran presence to that team. I figure Bekker will stay until he's ready to move into coaching but who knows. The big question I have is who is moving onto bigger and better things. I would think Choinere and Woobens would be the top two in that regard. Pottsy3 and Shway
Ftduck
After the final in Ottawa I got a chance to ask Krutzen if he will be back next year and of course he said "We'll see...". I could see him moving on if there is an opportunity for him. Like to see him back though. Shway
Cicero
Knowing Forge, we won't know who's in or out until we show up to Game 1 of next season.
Pottsy3
Looks like Krutzen has sparked the interest of the Whitecaps, was spotted training with VWFC2 https://northerntribune.ca/vancouver-whitecaps-daniel-krutzen-trial/ NVsoccer and narduch
Shway
I hope not for the 2 team. I’m still undecided if the move for Wright was the right one. Pottsy3 and toontownman

Cicero
Nancy is on his way to Columbus, rumour has it that Bobby is in the running to replace him at Montreal. narduch, NVsoccer and Metro

I'd imagine that Bobby's status is delaying the club announcing departures/extensions. I'd be happy to see him move on to the next level. We seem like a brand that is prided on continuity, so I would expect one of the assistants to move into the head coaching role. I’d love to see David Edgar take that next step, but Selaidopoulos is the more experienced manager. As long as Costa isn’t a part of a package deal, I’d expect that Sigma pipeline to remain intact even after Bobby. Typically managers do. At least 1 or 2 guys.

Worth noting the relationship with Axia, thus I think the Smyrniotis’ will ensure their people are kept in place. Markoaleks
Would love for Bobby to take the wheel of another club- fully deserved and more $$ too- so good on him That said, CF Montreal are going to be so bad with all the departures from the team too If expectations are low, then he only has one direction to go

toontownman
He deserves the move up. I don't think Montreal will bite the bullet but I think they should. He comes in with a grounding in Canadian soccer and would fit into the culture Montreal had under Nancy. Whether the same problems that pushed him out would effect Bobby is another matter I guess. Cicero
Do we have any news on roster moves, aside from drafting the two USports guys? I suppose Bobby was distracted by his interview process.
