When the best player in his position is flying out somewhere to give analysis instead of being on the field with the team it shows we still havent reached the realization of the quality of opponents and that its much higher than the average concacaf team..instead players like Kaye Piette Kone who easily lose balls in their own half in mls and are up and down offensively will be marched out and a medical team will be flown out to Istanbul to patch up a close to 40 year old who has been out for months and try to force him on the field against some of the top teams in europe

The drama llamas when it comes to Arfield are hilarious.

Do you not like CPL and Jonny David? A year is well worth it, especially with the gold cup next summer.

That's debatable. Fubo was the same price as OneSoccer during a promotional period and it includes OneSoccer as well as a lot more, inluding EPL.

Ugbo or Larin to partner David?

Starting Larin could give him some confidence, but same could be said of Ugbo. Furthermore, Herdman cited Ugbo's ability to stretch the field, which would open things up for others, especially David. If you want to see that against a WC calibre opponent, now is your chance.

I really hope we stop playing with two strikers.

1- we'll have no chance to compete with that formation vs Croatia or Belgium. 2- David and Larin just don't click enough to make it worth having two strikers on the field.  We have enough fire-power with Davies and Tajon on the wings, and we could play Hoilett behind David as a 10 that can also play midfield.  The key to any success will be clogging the midfield (4-5-1).

"Club Brugge winger Tajon Buchanan is returning from injury and will likely only make the bench for the Uruguay game "if he meets all the markers." Toronto FC defender Doneil Henry, who came down with a hamstring problem on the eve of camp, is with the team but not expected to see action.

Herdman wanted Henry to be part of the camp "to keep him close to this team."

"He's been a big presence in the dressing room. He's a real leader of men.""
