He played for them in one of those pre-season friendlies in the USA, so he would have obviously trained with them too. Good add, but this might need a bit of an asterisk given the squad that went to the USA. Did he ever train with the proper A team? One American
I never get excited about Italian youth players. The US track record there, Rossi aside, is dismal. It just has never seemed like there's much of a pathway there to senior team action. Even in Spain, guys like Jozy, Konrad and even Ben Lederman have at least found work around Europe at decent teams. Our Italian youth players just vanish. But hope for the best. narduch
I don't know. This would excite me more if he was getting more minutes for the Primavera team. https://www.flashscore.com/player/diallo-oumar/tnj5lpWu/

Smith has seemed to sour our view. Examples I can think of: piette - one of the appearance leaders of CMNT millar - young and a great CMNT contributor vitoria - arguably one of the best CMNT CB.... certainly was our best CB for a number of years. Hoilett - an all time great ZBG? - Did he ever train with Lyons first team? EDIT: Tabla - disappointing career so far. Guys with the jury out corbeanu, smith, dias, costa, diallo, jebbison, LDF, Colyn, JKL Im sure Im missing loads of examples but can anyone add some names ot my list? Michael Petrasso with QPR. Obinna
Big move. LASK are one of the best Austrian clubs. If he can get into the first team right away and make an impact, we could possibly see him with the national team this fall. Depends on him, but this move does set him up nicely, in a way that being stuck in the Inter system does not. And not saying being stuck in the Inter system is bad. Massive club so being in the system is great for his development, but it probably slows down how quickly he gets into the full national team. Can't recall the last time we called a forward from a big club's youth set up (Millar at Liverpool)? johnyb, ahmedou, Corazon and 8 others 10

InglewoodJack
Good level. Think we’ll be able to better determine if he’s a guy for the future at this level. Happy he’s sticking it out in Europe instead of coming home. Buchta and ahmedou 1

narduch
Considering how little he played for Inter Primavera this makes more sense. He will get a shot to prove himself and move up to the 1st team if he performs well. Canuckia, johnyb, Obinna and 1 other 3
AnonymousInsider
I’m personally surprised LASK is even signing him from what I saw at the Concacaf U20 Qualifiers. I hope I’m proven wrong but I just really don’t see it. Ivan, ahmedou and toontownman 2

youllneverwalkalone
On the mobile version of FM, when managing a lower league team, they would give you a list of out of contract youngsters. I'd always try to sign them all regardless of need or any scouting. I feel like that is what's going on here. The Inter brand goes a long way. 😂 narduch, ahmedou and The Real Marc 2
