So predictable! I know this is a youth tournament but this was a failure, losing to 2 minnows and with few exceptions no stand out individual efforts, we are still a long way from being a power in our region at this level and we should be!

With the amount of stupid decisions on the pitch we deserved to lose. Unbelievable how poor our execution was in transition with numbers.

The really sad thing is that now there is no U23 tournament; we are already eliminated from Paris 2024.

Meh…I had low expectations coming into this tourney and at no point did I see anything on the pitch that made me believe otherwise. Mexico would have probably dog-walked us in the semis anyways

Only positive from this tournament is we got to see Justin Smith and as far as I'm concerned he's the only out of this lot that has a future with the Senior team.

Unacceptable performance in this tournament. There must be consequences for the ones involved if we want to continue to grow as a soccer nation.

I really hope that it will serve as a wakeup call for CSA regarding our youth teams for future... 

If it doesn't, well then Canada cannot grow as a footy nation.

In the end of the day, just like every youth team, only about 2-3 players will actually be in contention with the men's team in the future. Whether as depth or starters, we'll have to wait and see.

 

Despite playing poorly as a team, you can still look at the individuals. There are still players that show some promise and will most likely play better with a more experienced team around them. Still time to learn and grow.
