Buchta
According to a USA soccer podcast, the US are rumoured to be playing Japan and Saudi Arabia in Europe (on match in Germany and another in Spain). TGAA_Star
If I'm Canada, then my friendly opponents for September would be instead: 1- Qatar themselves the hosts 2- Ecuador 3- Australia

Wouldn’t be surprised if we end up doing that tournament of friendlier in Japan with uruguay and another team. That could be cool. jhoops__
TOcanadafan
Just as Europe has Nations League, Africa has AFCON qualifying during the September window. We may be limited to Asian and South American teams. Looking at the schedule, a small handful of European teams could squeeze in an extra game at the start of the window, and perhaps African teams could do the same (I don’t see a schedule yet for their 2 games). jhoops__
^sides are only allowed 2 games in Sep window… narduch
InglewoodJack
I also think Australia could be a realistic option. An away in Tokyo then Sydney, or away in Tokyo, then home in Vancouver?
jhoops__
Little chance we’ll travel to Japan or Australia. I’d say it’s about 95% we’ll be having a Sep camp in Europe… narduch, canadasoccer20, Obinna and 1 other

Watchmen
The Kenya FA and Zimbabwe FA have been suspended, and their September Cup games canceled. Unfortunately the opponents that frees up for games are Burundi (ranked 140th) and...Morocco.
SpecialK
What about Norway or Sweden ? i was looking at Norway‘a team, if they could all their players, they got really strong team. TGAA_Star
SoCalTransport
I know this probably won’t happen, but they need to play an elite European team (England, France, Spain, Italy) and an African team (Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Senegal). Not probable, because CSA can’t seem to figure things out, but this would be the best preparation for Qatar. Jedi Ram and TGAA_Star

European and African teams have no availability due to nations league and and afcon qualifiers. narduch
