Most supporters have to deal with incompetent club ownership, while we get it for international games.

Believe it or not, you may bring up a great point. I'll reserve this comment for when they release the 2022 CSA report and we see the breakdowns.

Just to point out to the idiots. FIFA doesn’t like when governments get involved with Football Associations. FIFA gets very pissy about it and will sanction associations . Also the government has nothing to do with the CSA. Yes the government does give funds and grants but the CSA is in full control of money or the government plays the amateur Olympics athletes directly and it’s the same amount for female and male. 
 

The CSA is an nonprofit national sports association not a crown Corporation. If the word crown Corporation is a big word for you and you don’t understand what it is. Go look it up you lazy pieces of….

So to the people blaming the government for the CSA problems GO back to school and get educated you clowns. Man people are so dumb about civics.

Well maybe you have a better explanation as to why you're not finding an answer to your question?  My "unsubstantiated garbage" is that our socialist effeminate government is incompetent from the top down to many levels including the Canadian Soccer Association.  Maybe you have a better explanation as to why a national team that hasn't played a serious team outside of CONCACAF in ages can't line up a friendly despite despite knowing they were going to the World Cup for the first time in 36 years many months ago?  They sure seem pretty good at setting up plenty of women's exhibition matches... so its kinda not like everyone was hired yesterday?  The fact that they took an extra 3 weeks to arrange fan tickets for Qatar 2022 over EVERY OTHER COUNTRY (they were so late we almost didn't have enough time make the applications) kinda suggests they don't care very much.

Happy to hear other explanations!

That’s not what I meant. 

I posited that Canada only announced the location of Curaçao Nations League today because Concacaf was going to do it anyway.

So they could still be working on a friendly that would occur before it, but we’re forced to announced the Curaçao match before finalizing anything on the friendly front. 

As I said, I highly doubt a friendly happens but the Curaçao announcement doesn’t automatically mean there won’t be one.

Now to catch up on the rest of this thread…
