POTS UPDATE as of 15:15 EST - including updated FIFA ranking points from today's CAF games.  Nothing much changed.

Based on my math for Canada max points is 1504.57 points.

Does anyone know what happens if say Nigeria win 1-0, then lose 1-0 and win in extra time? Do they just get a win and a loss? They’d technically have lost leg 2 but won in extra time, so do they get any credit for winning the extra time?

Extra time win be same as a regular win. Penalties you don't get the full points.

Edit: Oh I just understood your question. So say for example, they win 1-0, go down 0-1 in second leg but win 2-1 in AET, they would get full points for 2 wins unfortunately.

Even if they "lost" 1-0 in the second leg but then won in penalty shootout they would still be Nigeria wins (penalty) GHA  Ghana I believe.

Kyle_The_Hill may be right about extra time (document on FIFA website seems ambiguous since it doesn't discuss the case where regular time yields a winner for the game), but penalty shots definitely don't count if there is a game winner a.e.t.

For example:
Leg 1: Team A wins 1-0.
Leg 2: Team B wins 1-0. Team A wins penalty shootout.
Leg 2 counts as a loss for Team A.

Watching these African games today, I have watched a good chunk of three different games....every team I have seen can be beaten by Canada. In particular they all lack our creativity/speed/link up play on attack...
