Senegal has the better team, so they deserve it

1000% Egypt was useless over two legs. They looked like they were playing for Pks.

Mo Salah was missing over both legs. And then shanks that penalty.

Senegal deserved it.

I've worked out all scenarios - please check. For Pot 3, CAN needs:

Scenario 1
- Win or draw vs. PAN, AND
- ANY ONE of the following:

MKD beats POR
DRC beats MAR
MLI beats TUN or TUN advances on PSO*

Scenario 2
- Win vs. PAN, AND
- TUN draw

Scenario 3
- ANY TWO of:
MKD beats POR
DRC beats MAR
MLI beats TUN
ALG qualifies with tie or loss

I thought Tunisia advancing on a draw would also work?

The Egyptian pk takers are looking like cast members of “My favourite Martian” with all the green lasers on them as they shoot

Looked like the predator when he bleeds, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ooze. Seriously though, that shit was fucked up. I have no doubt it threw them off.

Hey, regular CAF watchers...is that at all usual, the laser show in Senegal?  I already thought a lot of the footie from the CAF qualifying was trash...better in AFCON.  Just a massive foul and dive show.  I know it is on the edge play, and teams have to play tight what with the qualifying format, but it wasn't really much of anything to watch.

And that Senegal fanshow, although it's hard to know how much it affected players, was pretty poor, yah?.

I doubt that and I can say that about my country because they can't do the damn job and beat Nigeria. You have one simple job to do and they can't even do that right.

Not to derail the thread, but are you the TGAA of old Ghanaweb Forum fame?  I see how Ghana's recent failures have soured you, I'm in the same boat hahahaha.  I really had no faith in the boys qualifying against Nigeria.  Here's hoping Hudson-Odoi completes the switch in time, and comes to play for us in Qatar!
