JamboAl
I'm just glad we don't need anything from a place like Panama (or gulp, Honduras again) to qualify. The US beat England 1-0 in 1950, in the group stage. I thought that was a rather famous result. They played Nigeria to a scoreless draw in 2002. The other cases mentioned as well. No. Some of them have been on the UEFA app (which is free), but the Portugal one isn't as TLN has the rights for their games in Canada I think. A Ghana win or a draw with away goals knocks Nigeria out. An Egypt win or draw keeps them above us on pts, so they must lose but still advance. i.e. a one-goal loss with an away goal. You get all obsessed for a late Sunday result you really do not give a damn about, on the edge of your seat for some ridiculous combination so you can swing a combination. Pools are actually harder, at least the ones I've done, as you're asked to pick one of W-L-D. Here we are looking for a 50% chance, mostly. Of all the African teams in the mix, I would normally want Senegal and Morocco to go through, simply because there are players from both teams who are also Spanish or even grew up near where I am.
