DrunkOffPunch
No Weah is a pretty big blow for the US. Him, Jedi, and McKennie were the 3 best players against El Salvador. QBCS and narduch

DrunkOffPunch
Just now, Alex said: Jedi = Dest???? 😂 Antonee Robinson. Long story short, as a kid he was a big Star Wars fan and he got the nickname from that and it stuck. He goes by Jedi instead of Antonee. Brie, it turns out, is not an approved COVID vaccine in Canada. Go figure. (Most pundits figured Weah was not starting this game anyways. Likely to see Aronson instead.) He only has one dose - he got covid a bit before the 2nd dose and was allowed to delay. Acid-Tone
Canada does recognize a previous Covid positive test as an exemption to the "fully vaccinated" requirement, but only for 90 days. afurry91, johnyb and frattinator 2

Yoginess
I think a lot of Europe uses 10-180 days for positive test as proof of immunization
Acid-Tone
I stand corrected then. It was quite a few months ago that I had read that, so I was going off of memory. Thanks for clarifying.
afurry91
When you consider that part of coming here is lying to the government and telling them you’ll quarantine at the hotel if you develop a sore throat (or other symptoms) and wait for a test result that isn’t required to get back to the US (by land), then maybe the requirements are bit ridiculous. I have a hard time believing someone who tests negative before coming, has had Covid, will be in a bubble while there, and is fully vaccinated according to France is a danger to Canadian citizens. But whatever. Such is life in 2022. Game on. Edited January 29, 2022 by afurry91 SirBobsaget and johnyb

But as you know, they only came out in France a month ago and he just couldn't fit them in to his schedule, as it was filled with appearances at local charities and orphanages..... red card, RS and frattinator
Approve My Account Pls
I think the more impressive part of this whole narrative is that USSF only "found out" two days ago. Surely they would've known about this for a while and been able to get on top of it? Whether you agree with them or not it's not as though these rules haven't been in place now for some time sstackho, king1010, narduch and 1 other
king1010
Thats some special incompetence from the ussf. The rules have been clear in Canada and havent changed for a while.

You're really reaching here to make him sound like an Anti-Vaxxer. A 2nd dose wasn't required in France due to his Covid infection.
