I'm not convinced that enticing fans of the Jamaican team was a blunder.  The CSA needed the gate revenue, and Canada fans didn't pack the stands in those days.  Better to play in front of a mildly antagonistic crowd than shrink the budget even more.

Just rewatched the game. That Honduran left back #23 Rodriquez is a  dirty little rat. He was going at Tajon all game and should have got at least 3 yellows. The ref was too lienient with many of their tackles. How was the one that injured Piette not a yellow? Other than the card issue he didn't do a bad job

The live broadcast in Argentina the analyst former defender and MD doctor of medicine  "doc" Herbella noticed that he was being nasty to Buchanan with every chance since his "triple Gambetta " on him,  in the first goal.  Took it personal.  There was a diving header that the 23 when with his studs up in the air to cut Buchanan
