Well, at least he did create something quickly. My guess is though that they want to save Millar and Ugbo for the next two games. Cav is rusty, hasn't played in months, he's not going to get anything but garbage minutes - where-as I could see Millar and Ugbo potentially starting one of the next two.

Ugbo might be less trusted than Cavallini on defending set pieces and hold up play, as we just see a nice touch from Cavallini to win a free kick. Those things probably matter more than a slightly higher chance of a 3rd goal.
