Shway
Position: Forward D.O.B: ??? From: Born in Nigeria, raised in Mississauga, ON. Corazon
Taken from Northern Tribune's Article: Nigerian-born forward Tani Oluwaseyi is a wide attacker has procured an immense twenty goals and ten assists throughout three seasons with the St. John’s University Red Storm, cementing himself as both a potent and unselfish forward with a good eye the best goal scoring opportunity. Oluwaseyi was just ten when his family immigrated to Mississauga, with the forward establishing himself at GPS Academy and winning the golden boot at the 2017 Super Cup in Ireland, while also leading the team to Ontario Academy Soccer League and Provincial Indoor Soccer League championships. He credits a lot of his early development to former Hamilton Croatia coach Ron Davidson. With Oluwaseyi missing the 2021 fall season due to a knee injury, however, some MLS sides may be scared away from drafting an individual who otherwise would arrive as a high-ranking pick. If he’s open to offers from the CPL, any outreaching clubs might find themselves a gem. Olympique_de_Marseille
With Zouhir and now Oluwaseyi at San Antonio, does that make San Antonio the most Canadian-friendly USL side for this season?

Monterey Bay have two players (Morey Doner & Nevello Yoseke) and also Lexington in the USL League 1 has two players (Terique Mohammed & Will Baynham). However if you include Head Coach Alen Marcina on San Antonio, that would make three Canadian's. Edit: As @jordan mentions below. Monterey Bay also has a 3rd if including a coach with Frank Yallop. Colorado Springs Switchbacks also have two players in Chapman & Malik Johnson. Edited April 27, 2023 by Corazon Olympique_de_Marseille

VinceA
Has a hat-trick tonight in his second game for San Antonio. And an assist That's 4 goals and an assist in two games for SA. edit: Changed to a brace after an earlier goal was ruled an OG. But looks like he added another assist. InglewoodJack
Rida Zouhir also came off the bench and played 16 minutes and got an assist and took 4 corners. San Antonio could be a sneaky fun team to keep an eye on. The team they beat 7-0 last night, Charleston is first in the east and only lost 1-0 to Inter Miami last week with IM playing their starters, so not a bad team at all. Corazon
Came across some highlights from his game today. About the only thing that cheered me up a bit after that Gold Cup game. He won Man of the Match scoring a goal and providing an assist in a 3-1 win against the Legion. Pasher scored the lone goal for Legion. Tani’s goal. Shows strength holding off the defender before calm finish. Pasher’s goal Tani’s assist. Beautiful threaded pass to his teammate for a breakaway. Legion Center back positioning sure helped. Full highlights, Tani also shows a beautiful turn and nice shot just off target. That makes it 6 goals and 4 assists in 8 games with San Antonio in the USL Championship so I’d love to see him continue He technically has 7 starts but he received a red 30 minutes into one of the starts one of his starts. Essentially he has 6 goals and 4 assists in 6.5 games played. G+A every 58 minutes in the USL Championship so far. TGAA_Star
Internationally the Super Eagles of Nigeria could take an interest in him but then so can Canada. I just think it will be interesting because of the fact that Nigeria their talent pool is so deep but then Canada's talent pool sort of is but not really. Corazon
This guy is becoming an exciting player to watch. He’s not really a prosoect anymore at 23 but It seems hard to imagine how he hasn’t really gotten a real shot at Minnesota yet given yet. I don’t know that much about Minnesotas forwards though. He’s got 9 goals and 4 assists in 9 games at a G+A every 50 minutes. Another clinical finish off a turnover: Great strength again on the build up and a lucky bounce on the finish. A beautiful one-time finish into the corner. Rida Zouhir nice assist Fresh Prince of MTL, ahmedou, johnyb and 2 others 4
