Ticket Info for Canada vs USA

Hello Voyageurs!

Tickets for Canada v USA will be on sale this coming Thursday. Interest and demand for tickets in The Voyageurs section has never been higher so please read the following very carefully.

We have been allotted sections 108, 109, 111, 112, and 113 for this game; slightly over 3000 tickets. This should mean that the majority of Vs who want tickets should get them.

Ticket purchase instructions:

  • Tickets go on sale on Thursday, December 16th.
  • We will be slightly delaying our sales until a few minutes after 10am eastern time on the 16th.We’ve had issues with the ticketing codes before and we need to verify everything is working to avoid the panic that happened during sales for the Panama game. This shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes so sales will be underway by 10:10am at the latest, assuming the links work properly.
  • The ticket links and codes will be in the same place as they’ve been for the previous games; on The Voyageurs website on the ‘Voyageurs Tickets’ page.
  • Between 10am and 10:10am, simply refresh this page while you are waiting. Once we have opened up sales, the links and codes will be there. Before we open up sales, you will simply see the message you are currently reading.
  • Once the links and codes are available, follow the same procedure as previous games … click the link, enter the code, purchase your tickets. Ticket limit is four per Ticketmaster account.
  • Tickets in section 113 are $50 plus fees and in all four other sections are $35 plus fees.

A few other notes:

  • As with other games, you need to be a member of The Voyageurs to access the ticketing page, but you can buy for non-members. However, we are asking people not to overbuy. If you only need two tickets, just buy two. If you buy extras but aren’t sure who might take them you are (quite literally) taking tickets away from other members who could use them.
  • Tickets will likely sell out quite quickly. If you are not ready to purchase at 10am there’s a very good chance you will miss out. If they do sell out, please try and buy elsewhere in the stadium. We are hoping some members purchase tickets in 107, but realize this is both a non-standing section and a more expensive section.
  • We will be treating both sides of the stadium where we have tickets equally, so both sides will have flags, drums, and people there to help lead the singing.
  • We have no real capacity to sort out Ticketmaster glitches. Unfortunately they do happen, but the most common issues are browser issues, issues between desktop and mobile, and user error. For example, if you go straight to TM and enter the Voyageurs code, it will not work. You need to use the link on the ‘Voyageurs Tickets’ page. But if you experience issues trying to purchase tickets, there is almost no chance we will be able to sort them for you, and we will have extremely limited capacity to answer any questions. So if you message us for help during ticket purchasing we will likely be unable to respond, and if we do we will likely be unable to offer any solutions.

This is a very exciting time for Canadian soccer. Both senior teams are experiencing great success and we’ve had an explosion of interest in The Voyageurs. But that means it is also challenging to serve members’ needs. We’ve been allotted a large number of tickets and we’ve done our best to implement a system where members get exclusive access. But we realize on Thursday everyone will not necessarily get what they want. We need members to be considerate of other members during this process. Please don’t overbuy … buy the tickets you need and let others get tickets as well. DO NOT SHARE THE TICKET LINKS OR CODES to non-members. Doing so ruins everything we are trying to do. Be ready to buy on Thursday, read the instructions carefully, and follow them. This will help ensure things will turn out well for you and everyone else.

Cheers and see you in the stands,

The Voyageurs

$50 for a standing room ticket eh. I mean the pricing structure for the general sale also seems pretty high in comparison to other games.

$50 is still $20 less than the equivalent section on the other side.  I was surprised it was that low but with the fees, it will likely touch upon $60.

Thanks Rob!

I only signed up for membership today after finding out that the maximum number of tickets for non-members is 4. Will I still be receiving the presale code Thursday morning?

Going to be purchasing 10 tickets. We were sitting a couple sections down from the V's during the Panama game and after asking my friends, we all wanted to join in next time. Looking forward to January 30th at Tim Horton's field.

It’s all in the info:

4 ticket limit per TM account regardless if you are a Voyageur or not.

You will not receive the presale code and link. It will be posted in the place described on the website. You need to find it on that page and use it as per the instructions.

So in theory if I bought 4 through the Voyageurs, my TM account wouldn't let me get CanadaRED or normal tickets either?

My mistake, missed that part. Thanks for clearing it up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they're just trying to say if you're unable to get tickets in the V's sections, try and get  tickets as close as possible

Has anyone received the CanadaRED emails yet? I feel like for past windows I'd been contacted far earlier

my friend wants to buy a membership, but he still hasn’t made a voyagauers account. Are the admins verifying accounts today so he’ll be able to buy tickets tomorrow?

We don't do them manually... sometimes there are some hiccups

We are glad people want to come on board, but at this point.....

Safe to say that regardless of section, the whole stadium will be standing for this game right? At least that's what it looked like on TV in Edmonton.

Depends where you were located.  During the first game this big group in front of us were standing, drinking, having a good time.  So we did too. Bunch of donkeys whining behind us to sit down.  We tried to be sympathetic, but after a while we told them to stfu.  The second game, the seats were covered in snow and if you brushed it off it was freezing anyway

Yeah sitting was not on option in the 2nd game and granted we weren't sitting anyways in the supporters sections.
