toontownman Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 Frustrating half for watford and Kone. What he had done has been good but he hasn't seen much of the ball. He has been the most advanced of the middle three but is often marked well when in attack. Has been working hard tracking back though. Couple of neat passes. Only one win but he seems to be absolutely on par with the bulk of his teammates (even if a couple are higher calibre) at a solid Championship team. More than anything else he not only doesn't look out of place in the team he is managing to impress. With more time to integrate and adapt to the league he is only getting better. dyslexic nam Posted January 17, 2023 Share Posted January 17, 2023 Yeah, pretty awesome to see. His long passes are next level - and it definitely continues what he was doing for CFM. I am curious to see how his position evolves over the next couple of years. Him and Staq could be a killer double defensive pivot if/when we need to lock things down (*cough* Croatia) but he also has some attacking chops that work higher up the field.
