Haber was always a striker through out youth football. It was only Dale Mitchell who decided to experiment with him as a CB on our U20 team. Shway
Unless guys aren’t available, nIt would be bringing him in for bringing in sake. Johnston and Laryea are just too solid and consistent for Canada. Its the reason why ZBG has performed well in red, but doesn’t get called back. Obinna
With the way he's playing and the talk of Algeria sniffing around, we should be locking him down this summer. It's not like he doesn't deserve a call. Someone like ZBG could arguably be called ahead of him, but after losing out on Mitrovic and Flores, I am perfectly okay with the dual-national factor being the tie-breaker when calling guys up. johnyb, costarg and Shway
InglewoodJack
Farsi is good enough to play for us, he deserves a call up. I think he’s ahead of Zator who got a call up. Him and Kone, two NDG boys on the national team. Reminding everyone who the best sports neighbourhood in the country really is. costarg

Shway
I just think we'll see both Laryea, and Johnston at both the Gold Cup and Nations League (providing both men are healthy).

Dominic94
I like ZBG, I really do. however Farsi is playing regularly for a better team and is a key player. He won’t be in MLS for long if this keeps up, and he has earned his call. I hope he gets it. He can push Richie, and I think long term he is our option going forward with AJ. I really don't know who should be called to these tourneys, but I have a question. If the dual-national factor is the tie breaker now, how about when Farsi is cap tied? Is the tie-breaker that he has more recent experience with the national team so as long as he can at least match ZBG he gets priority in perpetuity? Or do we somewhat cynically cap-tie and then go back to ZBG for our non-Johnstone/Laryea call ups?
Bison44
I'd call Farsi ahead of ZBG just based on what he has done this year, straight up. Cap tying is just the bonus. Unless ZBG can get doing something on the field, Farsi is just going to get farther and farther above him on the depth chart. And I like ZBG too, but this depth thing is a bitch eh?
