Dinozotti
Halbouni went 90’ in a 2-1 win against Hannover 96 ii. This win jumped them up to first place. Top VAddona, johnyb, aredding77 and 12 others

Remains the same. Needs to break into the 1st team at Bremen. I wouldn't cry foul if he was called, because I am encouraged by his contributions with the reserves, but I don't see him coming in until he gets at least some first team minutes. king1010, Ivan, Dominic94 and 6 others

dyslexic nam
I wish he would crack the first team. He seems to be doing really well for the reserves so it would be huge to get another young CB playing at a really competitive level. Definitely a guy I am rooting for. If Flores & Dias are being considered for camp poutine why not Halbouni? I get the urgency for Flores with Mexico trying to cap him & he is clearly a top prospect but none of those 3 have played 1st team football Corazon, Chad_Impact, Bison44 and 3 others

SwedishBadMan
If anyone has a chance, please spam Canada flags on his IG. I suspect Canada is his first choice anyways, but there are a lot of earnest and seemingly very passionate Syrian fans so you never know.

MM3/MM2/MM
Looks like they haven't played a game since December 11th (?), which he did not play in because of a yellow card suspension.

Obinna
Bremen are in a tight battle for promotion. I doubt he gets a chance this season. Most likely they promote and he gets loaned away for the 2022-23 season. By my count, they have three players loaned to the German 3.Liga, two players loaned to the 2. Bundesliga, one player to Liga Nos and the Danish Superliga, and a handful to other reserve teams (Dortmund 2, Freiburg 2, etc.). First and foremost he needs minutes, so if that's in the 3rd division so be it. That's better than riding the bench in the B2. Part of me would like to see him leave Germany, especially with all the lockdowns he's had to deal with. Denmark perhaps would be a good place to kick things off. Ivan
On the Northern Futbol Podcast, Galindo reported that although Halbouni has been playing very well, Bremen has 3 good CBs that he is not likely to replace any time soon. toontownman
At 22 he needs to be playing in a decent league for sure to develop further. Shame he hasn't got a chance with the main team already but he can't just sit in the reserves forever.
