frmr
Some rumours on reddit of an MRI and a pop sound being heard. Doesn't sound good.
FC_Hali
Bracing for the worst. Cancelling training and being taken away in an ambulance is your worst case scenario. This can really impact the team’s morale. Edited July 2 by FC_Hali
pod818
it can negatively affect morale, but there's still a few days before the game, hopefully it can galvanize the team and they win this for Tajon jhoops__, Borjans Sweatpants, Jack1997 and 4 others

Doesn't sound good. yikes..could be a ruptured achilles if so. Hate to speculate but that would be a big setback Edit: Now being reported it's a tibia injury which is generally a pretty good recovery and would be good news relatively speaking Edited July 2 by Floortom YorkRegionFan, jhoops__, Unnamed Trialist and 1 other 3

Obinna
Not good obviously but perhaps better than an ACL injury or achilles rupture. However you cut it, this will impact his upcoming season with Inter. We won't see him again until 2025, surely. Get better soon, Tajon.

mpg_29
I guess this means Layrea is definitely starting and probably going the full 90?

Injuries suck, but all 3 of these guys have stepped up this tournament, so we don't have any worries. It's a loss to not call upon a guy like Tajon, but we have depth here. We haven't seen Ali Ahmed yet. Does he get a little closer to game action now? WestHamCanadianinOxford, johnyb and Canuckia

pod818
If its a fracture to his shin bone (tibia), this could be the best case scenario. He would be out for awhile, but should fully heal Mattd97, Obinna, 74 Whitecap and 1 other
kingvikingstad
Oddly, I'm hoping the details of who was involved don't get leaked. If they do, you can only assume it's because someone wants it out there and is upset.

I think what is being said is that Crepeau looks totally back, despite how long it took. I look instead at injuries like Del Piero, who was never quite the same. But there are quite a few who suffer that kind of injury who never come back to the same level. Really really hope it's not that serious. 🥹
