I will say Portland gave him way too much space and time to line it up, but it's still a banger. So excited for him. Must be pumped about the recent call-up. gator
Kadenge
The ability to strike from distance is an attribute we need on the CMNT. I really hope he gets some mins vs Japan. He can contribute on both sides of the ball, so not a risky situation for Biello to put him in. h coach, Trois Reds, DeRo_Is_King and 5 others

mtlfan
When I was coaching young players I would tell players to respond to a a coach that asks where do you want to play " where ever you need me". Every coach wants these type of players. dyslexic nam, Ruffian, johnyb and 2 others
narduch
Finally have a chance to watch Montreal and Choinière takes some of the set pieces. His delivery is good. Something the CANMNT is sorely lacking. Fresh Prince of MTL and YorkRegionFan

It's early, but I'm loving the guy already. He just looks so genuine, shows so much respect to all the players, officials and coaches at the end of the game. He looks like a real class act. Kadenge
That was a beauty free kick by Choiniere. Reminds me a bit of the one by Eustaquio in Edmonton vs Mexico where he weighted it perfectly to allow Larin to run onto it and tap into goal. That type of delivery almost always leads to a good scoring chance. Corazon and dyslexic nam
InglewoodJack
Missed the game last night, but feels like this team could beat anyone on the continent right now, anywhere, any time. From the highlights I saw from the game, Montreal didn't even look particularly great either, and yet still beat a Miami who even without Messi is probably one of the best teams in the league. Really happy Coccorro was on the end of that free kick- he seems to be really happy to be here in Montreal, so seeing him shake the monkey off his back and score was awesome. I wonder if Choiniere has an extra gear he can kick up into this year. johnyb, Jack1997 and Obinna

InglewoodJack
Requested a trade from Montreal. Wow https://x.com/tombogert/status/1785764444083028171?s=46&t=spIaqlQfufAO3HreB1455Q Wish he was trying his hand in Europe, but looks like he’ll be dealt elsewhere in the league. At least that opens a spot up for another Canadian, and he’ll likely end up on a good American team. costarg, narduch, Jack1997 and 1 other 3

InglewoodJack
Could also be his agent trying to pressure Montreal. I doubt Choiniere is asking for insane money and I doubt Montreal will penny pinch arguably their best player who has been with them since he was 12. At least I hope. shermanator
Joey Saputo strikes again. If he insists on being this cheap all the time, he should just sell the club, pocket the hundreds of millions and fund a CPL club for the next century.
