Once he accepts that, and I expect that he has, options multiply simply because so many more clubs would be at least a sideways move with way more future than staying at Lille. Professionaly. I know David hasn't had the service and has logged a ton of minutes, but he cannot stay at 13 goals forever to keep his value up. He is no nonsense. I will say that much. I think he cares very deeply about Arsenal, and football, and what it means to be part of that special sort of community called a team. At the very least, it becomes a riskier investment than the slam dunk it looked like in the first half of the season. Yes, Lille have been awful, but they have still scored 19 goals over that period.
