I notice he didn't start - did he come on as an injury replacement?

Looks like a very solid performance off the bench for Eustaquio in their 2-0 win over Santa Clara.  Hopefully he's earned himself a start next game.

Tied for 3rd highest rated among the 16 players who played for Porto on SofaScore.  Highest rated if you remove the two goal scorers, which is exceptional for anyone who comes on as a substitute.  FotMob had him in the middle at 8th highest of the 16 Porto players, but still a strong rating.

22 Minutes played

XG - 0.02

XA - 0.18

Touches - 26

16/17 passes (94%)

2 Key Passes

1 for 1 Crosses

1 Shot on Target

3 for 4 on Ground Duels

0 for 1 on Aerial Duals

Possession Lost - 2

Interceptions - 1

Tackles - 2

Porto selling Evanlison to Bournemouth, very close to finalising, may see them picking up the Brazilian kid at Barça, Vitor Roque, who is a bit green but really has not been given any decent minutes at FCB.

Eustaquio seems to be just behind Nico González in the pecking order, but at least it is clear who is there and what he has to do to start.

I think for the family reasons, Eustaquio will like to come back to Canada. And stay close with his family there. Most important thing in life is family.

We all saw his documentary "Stephen's Eustaquio emotional journey to the 2022 World Cup".

Since his career he had 7 clubs in 10 seasons. Stability is important.

He achieved his dream to play with FC Porto the biggest team in Portugal.

His wife and her family are from Portugal and they just had a kid.

Family reasons for him to stay there.

Let us please remember why we are men!

Ah, no we don't.

Thank you fellows for the 26 likes.  Normally I pay zero attention to that stuff only to make jokes at being a Grand Master.  And I don't play chess.  I very rarely give likes, as I said I don't pay much attention to it.

But for some reason this caught my attention.  I didn't think it would get to 20 and I was cheering it on :)  Crazy the things that can capture you in the moment.

And in the famous words of Barry Manilow "Looks like we made it!"
