Looks more like a dark orange. I think I see the sash back for the Cavs, red with a white outline.

m-g-williams
I'll be honest . . . I can't say I'm a fan of this. I'd much rather stick with the gold CPL patch for the reigning champion and leave it at that. On a sidenote, I do like the forest-inspired pattern on the new Pacific kit that the league accidentally leaked in making this announcement. m-g-williams
So . . . the Maritimes are entirely south of the 49th parallel. So not only are the Wanderers and NS excluded, but PEI and NB are too. Way to go, guys. jonovision
The 2019 Valour away jersey was nearly perfect. From that tease it looks like we'll be seeing a predominantly black shirt again. Here's hoping.

So, whoever made that graphic is an idiot as the line does not show the 49th which is our Southern border west of Ontario and runs thought the middle of Vancouver Island. But m-g, going by that graphic Ontario isn't included either. m-g-williams and johnyb

m-g-williams
*Dayum*, that Valour kit is sexy. And loving the textured detail for Atletico and the Wanderers. Definitely more of a gentle refresh compared to previous years though.

Too much white on last year's edition.

red card
Being first and undefeated has its benefits. In Bob McCown's podcast from Wednesday, James Sharman mentioned that he was interviewed last week by Ipsos Canada - market research & opinion specialist. Ipsos apparently was hired by the British Trade Authority or some similar org to see how good an investment Canada would be in terms of football. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/james-sharman-on-canada-vs-costa-rica-in-the-fifa/id1518820915?i=1000555010885 towards end with about 15 minutes left Metro and narduch 1

chalms04
More kits incoming! I see a return of green for the Cavs, and I’d imagine the rivets are for Forge. Red for Ottawa, wheat for Valour (?) tribal for Pacific, swirlies for HFX, blue Canadian Forces inspired for FCEd, and grey for York. m-g-williams
https://league1canada.ca/ It looks like everyone's hope for a CHL-equivalent that serves as an umbrella for the regional leagues is finally happening! And judging by the north star logo and the fact that the CPL retweeted this, methinks the CPL has a hand in this. L1BC and L10 have even adopted the common branding, which is nice aesthetically. Edit: The CPL put out a statement about L1C, too. CSB involved, PLSQ to transition to common branding in 2023. Apparently Clanachan was the driving force behind this before he left. https://canpl.ca/article/league1-canada-officially-launched-today Edited March 31, 2022 by m-g-williams Kent, Bbeto, Shway and 4 others 6
Shway
I like how they unified the brand, just wish it was more specific to each region rather than a colour change. BC - Mountains Ontario - Trillium Quebec - Fluer De Lis
