No he didn’t see a minute and we got to play against his idol not once but twice including a semi final. Hope that stings. He has returned back to Tigres and has come off the bench twice for them since their Copa America ended early. June 11, 2025 is the date he can join us (three years after his last cap, since he hasn't hit the magical #4 yet) if he doesn't earn another cap with Mexico. Marcelo gives up the pen and gets the red, and as he is leaving the pitch behind the goal, Niko Sigur takes the penalty and blasts it so hard it goes through the mesh, deflects off Marcelo’s face, and then hits both Ruben and Ivan Mitrovic in the face as well, who are sitting together behind the goal cheering against Canada.
