rkomar
Would Larin ever be welcome back in the MLS? He was ready to fight the league's policy of unilaterally extending contracts by a year. It looked like an antagonistic relationship between them when he walked away. ahmedou

He wasn't just "ready", he fought it. Like Camilo. I think he'd be more likely in Spanish 2nd or back in Belgium than MLS. rkomar, ahmedou and nolando 1 1

Miss out on a nice payday for himself and a chance to move up career-wise? Weird, since around here I find most people are constantly wanting our players to move up club-wise after any mere whiff of success I was happy with the Mallorca move when it happened. I'm not afraid to admit that lol. and if he had scored 10 goals last year I am not sure many would have preferred he stay with relegated Valladolid. 7 hours ago, SoCalTransport said: Going back to MLS would've been a better option than playing in the second division. Valladolid was never staying down for a 2nd season. One step back for two steps forward in his career. Changing teams is always a gamble, infinite examples to that. He had a perfect fit and great thing going with Mallorca. ahmedou

A 4-2-3-1 with Muriqi up top alone. More midfield presence, more wide play. Darder the creative mid also signed last year is also on the bench. Looks like he'll have to produce with far fewer minutes this season, and same for the other striker Abdón. lowlander and ahmedou 1
Unnamed Trialist
He won't get on. They tied it early 2nd half from an own goal then got a ref and the final subs were to save the draw. 1-1 in stoppage time....nope, Villareal gets a late winner! Thinking if it stays this way a loan for minutes could be an option come January. Corazon, ahmedou, narduch and 1 other 3

They have the same coach as when he ended there. Or else, Mallorca being ineffective in attack, they go with two strikers, especially at home vs accessible rivals. ahmedou and Corazon 1

He just subbed off m 63… winning 1-0. Was a whisker short of pushing one in first half, had a goal called back for a milimetric offside just a few minutes ago. Seems he's done well, he's very close to scoring for club and country. narduch, GasPed, Corazon and 5 others 5

He beat his man far post on a long cross in from the left, headed it nicely down and in. Good finish, even though it did not count. His coach Arrasate said in the press conference: "I did not see it, but it was by centimetres. It's what we expect from Cyle, with him threatening. We expect a bit of that. He played two matches with his national team but for us he will be an important player." lowlander, ahmedou, GasPed and 3 others 3
