It's the defensive part of his game which he needs to improve, in particular his tackling. They are playing away and are down 4 to 3 after the first leg. Big ask, but that would be a pretty big result for them. Not unlike others, he struggles at times with marking guys not on the ball but the thing I have noted in the past is his inconsistent first touch and that simple thing can pose problems in both ends of the pitch. Zanotti started both Champions league games and was the worst rated player on the field in both games. They made 5 subs and Zanotti stayed on the bench so that may be related to the recent CL qualifier.
