Happy for Richie....looked great. He was looking to make a run in behind, just no one would deliver the ball to him.

I suspect his biggest priority was just not screwing up and ruining the shutout.  Played it pretty safe as expected. TBH, I was surprised he went forward as much as he did all things considered.

Forest only have a maximum of 6 matches left, 3 of them are in the league where they are well positioned so it remains to be seen how the manager will approach these matches leading up to the promotion semi final!

Middlesbrough are 3 points out of a playoff position.  If they sneak into the playoffs Spence, who Ritchie came on for, won't be able to play.  Richie could see himself playing in a very meaningful game for promotion if Middlesbrough play Forest FC in the playoffs.

Didn't do much, didn't have much to do, kept the ball locked down against an already defeated West Brom. Tried to make a few runs in behind as mentioned but Forest didn't have a reason to lob balls over top and potentially give it back to WBA. Also it was mentioned it looked like he might have won a corner but we didn't see because they were showing game highlights at that point. The fans cheered everytime he got the ball which was nice to see. Better than nothing!

Also did you hear them yell "SHOOT" when he had the ball about 25 yards out?  Already a crowd favourite in 10 minutes!  🙂

The quotes in that article seem like the fairly generic stuff you'd expect a manager to say about a player who's not in his first choice XI. Where did you find the offense in them?

100%.

Have to say the acknowledgment by the supporters at the grounds the other night for Laryea was something.  At least I thought so.

Keep at it.  He'll get his chances and when he does they're going to love this guy.
