Keegan
Is anyone else wondering how this is going to work? So Floro is coaching the U23s in October which means that the MNT will have no friendlies between Setpember and November qualifiers? I actually think one of our biggest failings in the Gold Cup was not playing a friendly beforehand, the step up from Dominica in Canada to El Salvador in LA was too much and it took time to settle in the game. Meanwhile El Salvador is coming off playing Chile away. To go from a Belize home and home to any of the next 3 teams in a qualifier would be a big mistake IMO. king1010
Its a busy time. If we had a Sr MNT friendly guys like Henry, Larin, Piette, James would be missing with the Olymic team too. Not sure how its going to work. But an October friendly would mean even more time between October and November as there was between Dominica and the Gold Cup. theaub
Would be baffling to not play a friendly in October
mpg_29
I think it would be wise to have a friendly against a team from CONMEBOL as the playing styles are similar to the Central American countries. Perhaps against a lower ranked CONMEBOL team: Ecuador (35), Venezuela (45), Peru (46), Paraguay (56).
Blackdude
I do think that Findlay could coach the senior team for the October matches. It's more about getting matches with each other and more matches with each other is good.
