canucklefan
A classic - Real Madrid defeats Barcelona 1-0 in overtime. Is Barcelona starting to show a few holes or was this a one-off? No. Real Madrid has Mourinho and that made the difference today. No ones defends better than a team led by Mourinho. This match made me think last year semifinal between Inter Milan and Barcelona where Inter defended like hell in the 2nd leg match.
amacpher
A classic - Real Madrid defeats Barcelona 1-0 in overtime. Is Barcelona starting to show a few holes or was this a one-off? Barca really miss Puyol. They are not the same without him and showed plenty of gaping holes against Arsenal and Shakhtar recently. David Villa is also in what must be the longest slump of his career. Goal-less in something like 11 matches. Barca just haven't been as good the past couple of months, so this result was coming. The good news is that this is by far the least important trophy of the 3 that these teams are fighting for this month.
rdroze
"least important trophy"? Apparently RM think so too: Oops! Real Madrid drops trophy under team bus MADRID (AP)—Real Madrid waited 18 years to win back the Copa del Rey trophy— only to drop the cup and watch it get crushed under the wheels of a bus. Only hours after beating archrival Barcelona in the domestic cup final in Valencia, Madrid defender Sergio Ramos let the 15-kilogram (33-pound) cup fall from the top of the team bus during celebrations early Thursday morning in the capital. The front right wheel of the bus rolled over the trophy before the driver stopped. ... http://t.co/cw6Lo85
amacpher
If I were a fan of Real Madrid I would be embarrassed that they had a open-top bus celebration over the Copa del Rey at like 5 in the morning. That's some small club behaviour. lol
kj52
Video of the "drop". A lot of people there for a "little trophy" celebration. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3539663/Video-Sergio-Ramos-drops-Copa-del-Rey-under-open-top-bus-as-Real-Madrid-celebrate.html
EddieGuerrero
Barcelona is really good as a Unit.A team with many big names like Messi,Villa,Iniesta,XAVI and Besquets.Puyol is too good in defense so I don't think this statement is true.Yeah, they can win it too If a few Messi or Villa attempts don't get little wavered.Real and Barcelona are always the two major teams in the Spanish leagues.
