nolando
Jack Stewart played 90 for Dallas' reserves Nov 9: http://www.sportingkc.com/news/2011/11/reserves-fall-fc-dallas Wonder if he is in their plans for next season? Dallas can probably buy him outright, I'd imagine. Edit - Stewart still on the bubble: "Stewart was another midseason addition who was brought in to give FCD some defensive cover. Of course, he did have the huge goal in the win over Toronto FC at BMO Field in Champions League play, a tally that’s all but forgotten after Dallas crashed out of the CCL with a 4-0 loss to the same Reds club back in September. Stewart is 27 and does have a solid resume of playing experience. Stewart appeared in two games, including one start, in league play. He could stick around for preseason as a depth guy in the back but could also be released should Dallas find a better option on defense. FCD assistant John Ellinger is a big fan of his after coaching him in Salt Lake and Ellinger’s voice carries considerable weight with Hyndman. nolando
Jazic re-signed yesterday, believed to be for one year: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2011/12/02/chivas-usa-re-sign-veteran-left-back-jazic “Our intention was to always re-sign Ante,” Chivas USA general manager Jose Domene told MLSsoccer.com over the phone on Friday evening. “We were in talks and the process was that if we didn't get an agreement by the time that the deadline comes, then he goes into the list. But that doesn't mean that because he went to the list, that we didn't want to sign him. Our intention was to keep him all the time.”
Soccerpro
I hope Mozzi Gyorio and Shaun Saiko can at least get invites to an MLS training camp in January. I know TFC tried to get their hands on Gyorio last year, I think he's out of contract now and should be available..
ThiKu
^only if they can get meaningful game time. But yes, it'd be wonderful. Both are bright attacking players that the CMNT needs moving forward - especially to bridge the gap b/w the current CMNT group and the u17 group...
