Whither Canada
You sound really pretentious. It wasn't awful at all. Actually, it was pretty dire from where I sat (at home) - stray passes everywhere, very little ball skill, very little buildup, etc. And I'm sorry, but the East side of the stadium was half-empty with ten minutes to go. tovan1
Second round NHL playoff schedule is now out and it's more bad news for Canadian soccer. Next week's 'Caps-Impact match is going with the Canucks' at home to Chicago for game 3 of their series. The following week's return match between Impact and TFC could possibly go head to head with the Habs-Pens game 7 in Pittsburgh, if the series goes that long. The NCC can't seem to catch a break this year. Canucks game will definitely put a dent in the ratings and attendance...
masster
I'll be surprised if the Caps get more than 4,000 people to the game on Wednesday!
TheKottonmouthed1555362307
its Blacked out on Pacific too, so unless your gonna compeletly ditch the Nucks your not seeing the Caps game, which is crap. Blackouts don't do anything for attendance or ratings it's a terrible PR move, just ask the late Wertz.

DJT
I don't think it was a blackout. It's just that they showed it only on the digital feed.
narduch
I don't think it was a blackout. It's just that they showed it only on the digital feed. Yup. Sporsnet does this to try to get people to subscribe to all 4 of their channels. Hell, they often don't even show the Blue Jays nationaly, much to the chagrin of Jays fans outside of Ontario.
