BearcatSA
^Vitti for Guevara, maybe DeRo dropped back into the Honduran's role?
BringBackTheBlizzard
Definitely an option but could be a bit risky as Guevara has shown more of a work ethic defensively this season than he usually gets credit for, while that's not really Vitti's game. Playing it really safe defensively would probably mean using Adrian Serioux who played centre mid a lot earlier in his career or possibly Sam Cronin although I always think he looks better out on the right as his game is more about athleticism than an ability to make defence splitting passes. Dwayne De Rosario would be the prime candidate, in my opinion, with Vitti playing a free role up front in behind Gerba (hopefully although I have a sinking feeling Barrett will start again). Lots of options so nothing to panic about, basically.

In exchange, Dallas receives a conditional draft pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. 10 games played in 2009 is usually what gets quoted as the requirement for that conditional draft pick to apply. http://www.3rddegree.net/2008/06/abdus-ibrahim-traded-to-toronto/ After a long sabbatical away from FC Dallas, Abdus Ibrahim has been traded to Toronto FC for a conditional draft pick. If Ibrahim plays 10 or more games in 2009, or if he is sold, loaned, or traded, then FCD will receive a 2010 first round pick. If none of the previous conditions are met, then FCD will receive a 2nd round pick. Ibrahim had a strong spring for FCD and was really starting to show some talent before his sabbatical. Not fully clear how the Adrian Serioux deal affected that:- http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20090224&content_id=219546&vkey=pr_t280&fext=.jsp&team=t280 Toronto FC announced Tuesday that they have acquired defender Adrian Serioux from FC Dallas in exchange for Toronto's natural first round 2010 MLS SuperDraft pick and allocation money.
