Artoo
I am looking for an accurate list of NSC/CNSL/CPSL/CSL league champions (playoff champions). I understand that the CSL site has a list, but by comparing it with the wikipedia (for example) it appears to be inaccurate. Does anyone know where to look? Maybe my mistake is that previously the league champion was the team with best regular season result, and only recently they started looking at the playoff winner as the champion? ray
For the early years (1927 -1950?) you could try Colin Jose's website: http://www.canadiansoccerhistory.com/ontario/nationalsoccerleague1.htm
Eric
As far as I know, in the NSL there were three trophies given in the season: REGULAR SEASON, LEAGUE CUP and PLAYOFF TROPHY

Artoo
Thank you all! I am in particular interested in the years 1961 - 1986 and 1993 - 2008.
Artoo
Ok... I figured it out. According to this site until 2001 it was the regular season winner and not the playoffs winner that was deemed the league champion. http://www.canadiansoccerleague.ca/page.php?page_id=9962
