coppercanuck
I was curious, because it has been a long time since I lived in Cold Lake, AB, about the weather around the 15-Oct. www.wunderground.com has a trip planner. for Edmonton for the 13-17 Oct there is a 62% chance of a Freezing Day (0C or below)!! AWESOME!! let's hope all those Mexicans are wearing gloves, I know our boys will be in short sleeves ( uh, the CSA can't afford the long ones) 2003, 04 and 06 all had snow on the 15th. 2002 had rain. Good times. Freeze Mexicians !! FREEZE!!
Reza
If it was a bit later in October, you would have a really decent chance of cold weather. The early half of October upto around October 20th is anybody's guess. You could have an Indian summer with plus 20 temps, rainy days, the odd occassional snowflakes or even a snow dump. So it's anybody's guess and I wouldn't really bank on the weather to give us any advantage.
